This painting was inspired by an early fall scene on Charter Creek. The creek itself has been set aside for the Sooke Salmon Enhancement Society in their support for the annual salmon migration. Some of the salmon naturally follow the course of the Sooke River and then on into Charter Creek where they complete their life cycle. I felt this tranquil scene provided the perfect backdrop to the annual salmon run. This is a 9" x 12" oil painting on birch panel. Currently not available.
